My name is Marius and I am a Portrait photographer from Pearland, TX.


I am “Kayumangi”.The word comes from the Filipino phrase “Kayumanging Kaligatan”, an exotic shade of gold and brown. The color of beauty, allure and warmth.


I am a Story Teller. I love photos that incorporate the where, the when and the what. I love to blend elegantly posed portraits with captured candid moments. I love it whenever my photos can tell a story without any captions, translations nor explanations.


I am a Geek. I outwardly profess my disdain for anything mathematical yet deep down, the analytical side of photography draws me to it, like a moth mesmerized by that flickering light emanating from a seductive lamp. If you must ask, I'm a Canonite but before that a Pentax and Sony groupie.


I am a GenXer. I love Alternative Rock yet I dance to the 80s New Wave music. The Internet is like a part of me, take it out and I feel completely exposed. I have a presence on Twitter, Tumblr, as well as on Facebook. Here’s a tidbit for you: My first website was hosted at the now defunct Geocities.


I am an Advocate. I firmly believe in continuing education and that by being a member of the PPA, PPGH and the Strobist Community. I am able to better serve my clientele and my community.



I am Fearless. Every photo I make I strive to be Fearless. A photo stands out as stunning because you seldom encounter one like it. It’s rare because the photographer dared to be different, dared to take a risk, and dared to make a mistake. Only when we push our limits can we excel. I aim to be that photographer. I invite you to do the same.
